“I believe that people are calling for revolution so loudly and so quickly because they see what I see." -- I don't see how they could be interpreted as anything but, especially in the context of defending Mrs. Bachmann. I would never, and haven't supported a revolution, the thought literally never crossed my mind during the Bush years.

I do agree with you on one point, we aren't near revolution, and we won't have one. The truth is a vast majority of Americans are moderates, not complete wing-bats like Mr. Taylor.

I find it hard to believe that my words could be interpreted as supporting violent revolution. I do support the threat of it. The threat is part of what keeps us safe from oppressive government. However, I think I made it clear that we are far from the point of a true violent revolution and we should exhaust more peaceful means before considering revolution.

Haha, I've read it. But, I still can't support the destruction of our democracy, nor the rampant violence that would come with it. I will point out you said in said response "I believe that people are calling for revolution so loudly and so quickly because they see what I see. They see a man, an Administration and a Legislature that are intent on stripping the people of this nation of the freedoms that they have enjoyed for centuries."
Does this man see what you see? It is insane that someone as smart as yourself would be anywhere near supporting revolution. In a democracy, you won't always get what you want, and violence isn't the answer. This isn't the playground, and we aren't 12 year olds. 2012 isn't far away, then you will have your chance to "get your country back". Until then, the choice of the American people should be respected.

Both of you are off your rockers . . .

We certainly shouldn't be supporting "bloody revolt that will make the French Revolution look like a Sunday picnic." That seems apparent -- especially in those terms.

See my response article to this to see why I think you're off your rocker, Keating.

I may not live to see the right's ideas completely discredited, but I will be around to see that ridiculous statement proved false. Your comment has only made my case look stronger. The angry right is out of touch, uninformed, and lets face it, needless violent. I'm glad you support the destruction of our near 250 year old government, with irony lost, I'm sure you call yourself a patriot. You say its over the eroding of freedoms, but where were you doing the Bush years? On the bandwagon no doubt. Lets just be honest in our opposition, at least people would give you respect for the courage (if sadly ignorant) of you convictions. Thanks for reading.

You are obtuse, and in a few years this nation will be in the depths of a bloody revolt that will make the French Revolution look like a Sunday picnic. I look forward to it.
